MAGNUM OPUS

 By Asbha, Grade 9A Into the lonely and dull life of a young doctor, who has just started his practice comes a venomous and life-threatening visitor - a snake.   The doctor is a great admirer of beauty and when he looks into the mirror, he is full of appreciation for his good looks. However, the snake spares him and is itself attracted towards a mirror.  It was the summer season going on and it was night. The doctor came back to his room after finishing his meal at a restaurant. There was no light except for the kerosene lamp he had lit up. There were two windows that he had opened. Due to the immense summer heat, it was too hot for the doctor to sleep. So, he began to gaze in the mirror and became lost in admiring himself. Furthermore, whilst admiring himself, a desire came in him to look more presentable.  Furthermore, there was a sound of something falling but the doctor was slow to react. By the time, he had a look, a snake had managed to coil itself on the left arm of the doctor
