SUMMARY ON NELSON MANDELA — LONG WALK TO FREEDOM

This
autobiography revolves around Nelson Mandela who became the first black
president of South Africa in the year 1994. He mentioned about the brutal
practices named ‘APARTHEID’. It is a
racial discrimination between people based on their race, and color. This piece
of writing signifies the struggles of Mandela to transform his society into a
world freed from poverty, deprivation, suffering, gender, and other
discrimination.
In
Mandela’s life, he slowly observed that the freedom of his people were curtailed.
So, he decided to achieve justice against prejudice. Due to this, he spent 30
years in prison. After his release, Democracy was established in South Africa
which called for unity, despite the differences between the people. On the
Contrary, he was prevented from fulfilling his obligations to his family as a
son, a brother, a father, and a husband. However, he managed to provide rights
to the citizens of his country.
Ultimately,
the life of Nelson Mandela is an inspirational one which shares his determination
against brutality and the fight for his citizens of the country who were in
great hunger for freedom.
